First quarter round-up

It was a privilege to be part of the Advisory Board Panel at the Aged and Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA) Conference on the Gold Coast. Other activities during the past couple of weeks have included:

. Volunteering at the RizeUp fundraiser (a not-for-profit organisation which provides practical support for families who have fled life-threatening domestic and family violence) hosted by Liz Murrihy Events. Listening to the challenges faced and eventually overcome by people who have experienced unimaginable trauma through DV. Funds were raised through the support of a Czarina fashion parade, raffle tickets and door prize donations, with one lucky winner received a yummy morning tea hamper donated by myself.

. Attending the Redlands Coast Chamber of Commerce Breakfast event focussing on Cyber Security coving the need to protect our systems and data, including learning about the consequences of breaches to personal information. And, another winner was the recipient of the Life Enhancement Factor door prize!
