Why did I write AWAKEN to your life enhancement factor?
My journey has had it’s own ups and downs. I have experienced a series of relationships that didn't last, along with some health concerns. One time around 2010, I was in Sydney for a weekend of Theatre and dancing (of course) when I started to journal some thoughts. At that time my focus was on understanding the key factors for better relationship outcomes.
In the past I had seen some counsellors during and following my divorce and when other significant relationships had not gone to plan. Each time I wanted to understand and evaluate my role, my feelings and responses to these situations. I was often left feeling confused. However, I gained the most profound understanding of myself through an amazing NLP coach.
As I continued journaling and the ubiquitous soul searching, I realised I had a story that could be shared with others, to support their journey of self-discovery.
For the book itself, initially I admit I felt a bit overwhelmed how I would put it together. I had written many articles for bespoke magazines, online posts and my own self-published newsletter. My goal was to incorporate the power of meditation, as from my experience with the practice of meditation I seek to be a better version of myself. I want share this experience to help others. With an increased understanding of aromatherapy, combined with Time Line Therapy and NLP, all this knowledge just started to come together. I will say the original concept of the book changed as I discovered “the enhancement factor”! I reveal more about this in the book, so I don’t want to give it all away here.
Let’s just say when you have a dream, plan a concept and start working on it, you can surprise yourself as the path wanders and meanders and brings you to various destinations. Publishing the book is not the end of the journey or my story. Life continues to evolve.
